Rev. Yeojin Kwak Hopson (Jin) is a commissioned Elder in the United Methodist Church. She is originally from Seoul, South Korea and graduated from Methodist Theological University in August of 2012 with a Bachelor in Theology.


Deciding to study abroad, she continued her studies in America and graduated from Candler School of Theology with a Master of Divinity in 2018. She has served in various ministerial settings including working for the homeless, prison ministries, chaplaincy in a hospital, working with Assisted Living, working with children at Grace Methodist, assisting in ministry with the Wesley Foundation at Georgia Tech, and in the local church. 

Her husband, Rev. Sam Hopson is originally from Johnson City, Tennessee and serves as the Associate Director of the Wesley Foundation at Georgia Tech. They also have a little girl, Saejin. Jin loves spending time with her family, enjoys reading books, doing yoga, and walking mindfully.
